Low Ground is a dynamic acoustic band with South Florida roots, blending the energy of bluegrass with the exploratory spirit of jam music. Drawing inspiration from bluegrass, swing, folk, rock, blues, jazz, soul, and jam. Low Ground honors the rich history of these genres while infusing their sound with fresh, creative expression. Their live performances showcase exceptional musicianship and a genuine passion for their craft, making each show an unforgettable experience.

The band is led by bassist and vocalist, Amanda Accardi. Her courageous spirit is the driving force behind this project. Low Ground also features Paddy King on Fiddle, Isaac Taylor on Banjo, and Trevor Klutz on guitar. Change is something that this band thrives on, meaning you never know who may sit in at a Low Ground performance. One thing that is certain is Low Ground’s distinctive sound, that bridges tradition and innovation—delighting purists while captivating those eager to explore new musical horizons.

Touring History

Since forming in June 2020, Low Ground has played venues such as the Adrienne Arsht Center, Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, and the Cummer Museum. They have also earned spots on festival lineups, including the Charleston Bluegrass Festival, Southland Bluegrass Festival, Baygrass, Orange Blossom Jamboree, EMS Spring Fest, and Farm 2 Grass Music Festival.

Low Ground has shared stages with artists such as Old Crow Medicine Show, Del McCoury, Peter Rowan, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, The Steel Drivers, and Jim Lauderdale.
